In Short
1. PYQ Sourcing & Verification
Every previous-year question (PYQ) on Kinase originates from one of three official exam papers:
- →NEET-PG & INICET — Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, conducted by NBEMS twice a year (June & December).
- →NEET PG — National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate medical admissions.
- →INICET — Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test.
Since NBEMS does not officially release NEET-PG & INICET question papers, we rely on memory-based recall papers compiled by candidates immediately after each session, then cross-verify each question against multiple recollections before adding it to our QBank. Questions with inconsistent recollections are excluded until corroborated.
2. Subject Tagging & Topic Mapping
Each verified PYQ is mapped to:
- →One of 19 NEET-PG & INICET subjects (Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Pediatrics, etc.)
- →One or more high-yield topics (e.g. ECG interpretation, drug-of-choice, MgSO₄ regimen)
- →The exam year and session (NEET-PG & INICET June 2024, NEET PG 2023, etc.)
- →A difficulty band (Easy / Medium / Hard) based on candidate performance data
3. Explanation Standards
Every PYQ has a detailed text explanation covering four elements:
- Why the correct answer is correct (with the underlying medical concept)
- Why each incorrect option is wrong
- The high-yield clinical pearl or differential to remember
- Cited references where applicable (Harrison's, KDT, Park's, etc.)
4. Grand Tests — Real Pattern Matching
Our Grand Tests are designed in the exact NBEMS NEET-PG & INICET pattern: 300 MCQs split into Part A (150 Qs) and Part B (150 Qs), with timed sections of 50 Qs each. Subject distribution mirrors the historical NEET-PG & INICET blueprint (Medicine 38–40 Qs, Surgery 35–38, OBG 28–30, etc.). No section can be revisited once its time is up, just like the real exam.
5. Image Bank Curation
Our Image Bank includes 2,000+ clinical images covering ECGs, X-rays, CT/MRI, fundoscopy, histopathology slides, and dermatology images — the categories that consistently appear in 15–20% of NEET-PG & INICET papers. Each image has an associated MCQ + explanation, and image quality is reviewed for clinical clarity before publication.
6. Updates & Re-Verification
Our content lifecycle:
- →After every NEET-PG & INICET session (June & December): new memory-based PYQs added within 30 days
- →Quarterly: existing explanations reviewed for currency (latest guidelines, drug updates)
