Quick Answer

Gujarat state quota NEET PG counselling is run by Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) at www.medadmgujarat.org. It fills the state’s own PG seats; the other 50% of seats in state government colleges is the All India Quota counselled by MCC.

Who is the counselling authority and where do you register?

  • Authority: Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC)
  • Official website: www.medadmgujarat.org

What did we verify on the official site?

Read on 6 October 2026:

  • •The committee was constituted by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Professional Medical Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act (Gujarat Act No. 3 of 2008) to regulate admission to MD / MS / Diploma and MDS courses.
  • •Its site states that admission is conducted strictly on the merit of the candidate.

State quota vs All India Quota

In state government medical colleges, 50% of PG seats form the All India Quota (AIQ), counselled by MCC and open to candidates from every state. The state’s own share is allotted by Gujarat’s authority, with the state’s own eligibility and reservation rules. You can register for both; MCC and the state exchange lists of joined candidates so a seat joined on one side is removed from the other side’s later rounds.
